Cape Cod Maritime Museum
135 South St
Hyannis, MA 02601
(508) 775- 1723
Nestled at the head of beautiful Hyannis Harbor, the Cape Cod Maritime Museum holds a unique collection of artifacts, models, and fine art chronicling the nautical history of some of Cape Cod’s most important nautical events and people. The museum’s Cook Boat Shop is a working wood boat shop where they help strengthen community through boat building — keeping alive the boatbuilding culture, a tradition that’s been passed down through the generations. Their Historic Boat Barn houses a complete collection of Cape Cod wood boats — many of them, such as the Spritsail Susie, over 100 years old.
